Scalp Trader Pro 12/18/15 Weekly Review

Thanks for viewing this weeks Scalp Trader Pro weekly review. Things went well for us this week as we had several winning trades and the system is continuing to show us profits. I'm happy with how the system manages the trades once entered and the only real issue im having is with my own patience. You might not see your first trade for a week or two as the system is very selective but its proven to be extremely reliable as it hasn't had a loss in over 6 months. My advice is to just be patient and let the system run. It will perform when the time is right.

TCI Bond System 12/17/15 Review

Thanks for viewing todays TCI Bond System trading update. We were able to take a conservative trade setup during the lunch period and happily it ended in profit. Now that i've been watching the charts for a while i'm getting a feel for how Bonds moves and what setups are the most profitable. I'll mention everything in my final review. TCI Bond System 12/15/15 Review

Well folks today was a blah day, There was a great move down early in the day but we got no signals to go short so couldnt take advantage of it. There was an opportunity to go short a bit later and i'll let you watch the video to see what happened there. Overall the system has performed well, our 2 main losses happened during a trading period that the system doesnt recommend trading in. The rest usually hit our first take profit but it seems catching runners is rare. I might try using a 5 for the first tp and an 8 for the second.

The Fractal Trade ( New Update for NodeTrader)

TCI Bond Trading Testing and Review

I haven’t come across very many Bonds trading systems so im excited to see how this goes. Bonds open over an hour earlier than the Emini’s so this system will be great for people that cant sit in front of their computer all day. The margin for bonds is usually around $500 so even with a smaller futures account you will be able to trade this system. New Testing Starting Soon

I just wanted to give a quick update to let everyone know i'll be testing a new bonds system in the futures market very soon. Bonds have a tick value of $31.25 and typically margins between $300 and $500. The system looks solid but we'll know for sure once testing starts. I think it might be best if i wait until after thanksgiving so it will be a few days before the intro is posted.

I received an email about Scalp Trader Pro today and after viewing the results decided to give it a test. From what i could see trades generally last from 10 minutes to a few hours. I'm curious to see how this EA manages trades once their entered. I'll be doing my trade reviews every Friday and the daily updates will be available below. Gold Bull Pro 11/20/15 Final

Swing Trader Pro 11/13/15 Update

 

Thanks for viewing this weeks Friday update. I have 1 word to easily describe this weeks progress, "BLAH". Lots of sideways action and the market pushed up against our stop before once again dropping 40 pips. Monday should either see a spike up to take us out or a spike down to give us hope of reaching break even. In order to do a proper review of this system i would probably need 6 months or more since the trades last so long but hopefully these videos give you enough info to decide for yourself if you want to invest in the system.

Gold Bull Pro 11/6/15 Update

Thanks for viewing todays Gold Bull Pro update. This week was a lot slower than last week but still profitable. After talking to another trader and reviewing a few other myfxbook sim accounts that are running gold bull with different brokers i've determined that this EA is probably not the best option for traders in the U.S. as it seems to be very broker dependent and the recommended broker doesn't accept U.S. citizens unfortunately. If your not in the u.s. i think its a great option so far and i plan to continue testing it for you.

Gold Bull Pro 10/30/15 Update

This is our first week of testing and things went very well especially as we got closer to the end of the week.  So far were up over 11 % in the first 5 days of trading which is impressive but there are some issues with the system that i talked about in the video.  Many thanks Larry for following up and doing this review! My personal observations so far while testing GoldBull Pro is the following:

1. It doesn't seem to perform too well on accounts with low deposits that are starting from $500. So people using this EA should consider investing a minimum of $2,000 to have some decent results. Based on GoldBull's demo accounts it appears that an investment within the range of $5,000 to $10,000 would seem ideal.

2. I inquired about their recommended EA settings and this is what they told me (but feel free to experiment as you see fit):
EURUSD long with Agressive,
EURUSD short with Normal
GBPUSD long with Conservative
GBPUSD short with Conservative
USDJPY long with Conservative
USDJPY short with Conservative

3. GoldBull Pro has two live demo account results pages:

A. $5000 USD initial deposit | Broker - Tickmill demo | 1:500

B. For their FX Blue page this is what they told me via an email inquiry I had - "$10,000 USD initial deposit | Broker - Tickmill demo | 1:300"

4. With regards to point #3, when testing GoldBull Pro on some various demo accounts I realized that this EA only works best on ECN Pro demo accounts (accounts with a fixed / tight spread) NOT classic accounts or accounts with variable spreads. Actually, when I tested this EA on classic / variable spread accounts the results were downright horrible.

5. Nonetheless, I'm impressed with GoldBull Pro's results in the above links. That being said, my recommendation would be for international users to test or open a live account on TICKMILL ECN PRO (min deposit of $25) in order to achieve similar results that you see in the links above.

6. US residents may want to try the following:
A. Try opening a live (or demo) account with FX CHOICE MT4 PRO account (https://myfxchoice.com/accounts/pro-account/). The max leverage is 1:200, the minimum deposit is only $100, however as I noted in point #1 you should really consider a minimum investment (or even a demo investment) starting from $2000 in order for this EA to demonstrate any results. Also, I would expect the results on this demo platform to be different from the GoldBull Pro live results page due to the fact FX Choice has lower leverage than Tickmill (ie. 1:200 vs. 1:300 or 1:500)


B. I guess US citizens may also want to try Forex Broker Inc as a 2nd possible option (http://www.forexbrokerinc.com/account-types). My concern for testing purposes with the GoldBull Pro EA is the only demo platform Forex Broker Inc offers is a variable spread demo account, which is something you do not want to use with this EA..... They do have live Gold and Platinum ECN accounts with low spreads (GOLD ECN account may be preferable for the GoldBull Pro EA in terms of trading micro lots). Unfortunately, Forex Broker Inc does not give you a chance to preview these ECN accounts on a demo MT4 platform. So that's my rationale for US citizens checking out FX Choice first........

Swing Trader Pro 10/30/15 Update

Thanks for viewing this weeks swing trader pro Friday update. I'm happy to say we were able to close out the second half of our first trade for a nice profit of over 200 pips and we were also able to open up a second trade. Unfortunately the second trade has moved against us pretty significantly but the same thing happened before and it worked out so we'll just have to wait and see how it goes. I'll look to open more trades next week and continue to manage our open position.

New Reviews Starting Soon

I've gotten lots of feedback from people stating they prefer when i do reviews that i can post daily updates for. I'm currently testing a swing trading system that i only update once a week due to the nature of swing trades. I'll make sure to include a day trading strategy in my next group of reviews. 

I have a day trading strategy i plan to test in the futures market that i think will do very well. It has a long track record and lots of proof so we'll see how that goes. Ive also gotten lots of emails about a particular EA that people want to see tested so i'll be starting that soon as well. I'll start posting details and intros for these systems on Monday hopefully so stay tuned.

Weekend Gap Trader EA Review

Thanks for viewing my weekend gap trader ea final review.  After 8 weeks of testing we've finally come to the end. This EA is a bit unique in that it only trades once per week but i think we got a good feel for how the system operates in this video series.

Unfortunately we took 2 losses today and that ended our test with a loss of around $65 for the 8 weeks. I think the system has potential but there are so many different setting options that it will take time to find the most reliable. Also results are heavily dependent on the broker you decide to use. Swing Trader Pro 10/16/15 Update

Thanks for viewing my swing trader pro Friday update. Things are going a bit slow with the system as you'll see. Ive been in the first trade for 2 weeks now and we still haven't hit the stop or take profit level yet. I plan to start taking more trades next week so we can get a better feel for how the system works. I plan to let the first trade run but hopefully it will conclude soon. When i got home every position was in the negative and we already had 1 loss, obviously not good. The market did switch directions shortly after and gave us more winners than losers so we ended this week with a small profit. We have 1 more week of testing so hopefully the system can end strong.

Swing Trader Pro first trade update

Just a quick update to let everyone know I've taken my first trade with Swing Trader Pro and i've started the video recording to catch everything. As i said in the intro video, because of the nature of these trades i will be holding them longer so it might take a few days before i actually finish the video so patience is a must. I have a 225 pip stop and a 225 pip second take profit, the first take profit is 150 pips. I followed the instructions exactly so we'll see how it goes.

Thanks for viewing this weeks weekend gap trader review. Once again we had lots of gaps to trade this weekend and i was able to catch a bit of the early action instead of just doing a recap. It was basically a break even weekend, FX CHOICE had a break even week and Tallinex made about $100. There are people in the forum doing much better than i am using different settings but im going to finish up this 8 week test for you guys before i jump to any other settings.

Thanks for viewing my swingtraderpro.com intro video.  As the product name implies this is a swing trading system so you will hold the trades longer than with scalp trades. The average moves that you will see in the intro below after a signal is given are between 200-300 pips and a few over 400 pips. Based on what i've seen it looks solid so i cant wait to start testing. I will post my final review below once testing is completed.
