At this point i've invested in several ICO's to completion and several others that have yet to hit an exchange. In my first ICO i invested $100, the cost of each coin was $1 so i had 100 coins. I was able to sell my coins at around $17.26 after they hit an exchange which gave me a 1,700% return on my investment in a very short period of time. *see regalcoin video below
As stated above this is very high risk, there's a chance that the coins wont ever make it to an exchange, there's a chance that you can lose your entire investment. I'm focused on lending platform ico's but i dont participate in the lending, only the ico launch. It's always best to diversify and not put all your eggs in one basket.

By the time it hit the exchange people had lost interest. Current price is just over $0.50 so i could sell now for a tiny profit but i'll keep holding to see if it can break $1 dollar again.

11/23/17- After doing more research some troubling things about the owner of this coin have come to light. It seems he's run hyips in the past and doesnt have a very good track record. This is why its always good to continue researching programs. Thanks to Lawrence for sending me the video highlighting these issues. I still plan to participate but on a smaller scale, maybe $100. Lets remember, in most cases we dont know who the owners of these coins are or if the lending platforms are legit or not. Only risk what you can afford to lose and spread the risk around to several ico's.

1/15/18- Thorncoin will be paying out 12% per month for staking. Staking is where you lock up your coins in a staking wallet and get paid for holding them there.
1/22/18- I wasnt able to get this coin during the pre ico but luckily i was able to get some during round 1. The bitcoin price dropped so i was only able to get a little over 900. We'll see how it does on the internal exchange.
3/6/18- I sold my 987 tokens today. After seeing several platforms disappear recently i decided getting some of my money back was better than losing all of it. I was able to sell everything for $434 which means i lost $219. There was talk of an external exchange at the end of march but who knows.

For me its a pure money play, like i said in the video i wont be participating in the lending platform or any of that, i just need the coin to hit the exchange so i can ride the wave up and cash out. With all the interest and hype around this project its like regal coin on steroids.

ReplyDeleteI got in on the first day before the rush so that helped im sure. I had 1 screen open for the countdown timer and another tab on the ico purchase page with everything already filled out. Once i saw the timer hit 1 second i switched over to the ico page to purchase. All i had to do was press 1 button and wait at that point.

We have noticed that there is a small problem that is not allocating the correct Staking reward, this is a fairly small issue that we will have fixed very soon. Looks like LoopX has exit scammed, lesson learned. I'll let the remaining positions i have play out then evaluate the results. Going into this experiment with these lending ico's i knew losses were going to happen so hopefully when its all said and done i will be ahead. I made a few mistakes myself, i could of sold gold reward and westerncoin for a profit but greed stopped me. I saw what happened with regal and hextra and decided i wanted more. In our final tests we have found a small bug which needs to be fixed before we go live so the exchange wont be going live today. It is nothing major and should be a quick fix so we will make an announcement with an official launch time as soon as that is done.
We know our members are very anxious to get the exchange live and so are we but we will not go live until our dev team are 100% confident in the exchange as we have seen the detrimental effect it can have on a company when they rush out a platform that is not fully tested and air tight.
