Over the first 2 months of 2014 i've met several successful internet marketers, Several successful traders and several online business owners and they all have something in common, each of them has the freedom im trying hard to achieve. I believe watching them achieve success online is helping to push me towards my own success. I came across this video and I got a lot from it so I figured i'd share it here. I'm going to do some back testing of this particular release and see how its done in the past. In hindsight it was a mistake for me to cancel the buy orders but like I said this was my first real test. Keep an eye out for more of these types of trades in the future. There was very slow movement once the news came out and my stop was moved to break even almost instantly. Everything worked as it was supposed to and the market came back down and touched my stop so I ended up with a 1 tick loss. Most traders in the chat room were able to make 3-10 ticks in profit on this one. I didn't because I chose to use a Break Even trigger. The reason im not too upset is because this trade has been very good to me in the past and we have to expect to give some back to the market. I generally only lose 1 tick on this trade when it goes bad and my take profit is 20 ticks. With those figures you can see why this is one of my favorites. Anyway Ill see you guys on the next one. 2/7/2014 -$156.25 (Non Farm Payroll *LIVE*)

<div style="text-align: center;"> </div> Well today was a bit of an odd day for NFP. The market gave a nice push down then almost immediately reversed. It looked like the first move came around :59 seconds which filled me then the real move took over in the opposite direction. The good news is my stop held up and I only lost 5 ticks. Its important to remember that eventually you will take a loss, that's part of trading. The key is to make sure your winners are much bigger than your losers. Once you understand giving some back to the market is a part of trading it removes a lot of the stress. In general I use a 20 TP and a 5 Stop which is a great risk/reward ratio and so my losers are small and my winners are big.
